A Memory is an experience—such as a trip, event, or project week—that you can attach wherever spending happens. That includes expenses in Smart Ledger and a budget’s What counts. A Memory is not a Place and not a group by itself.

Spending belongs to a Memory while that Memory is turned on, not because the expense date sits between the start and end you typed.
