Add an expense from a receipt or a note
A photo of the bill and a written note use the same draft. Nothing is saved until you confirm and save the expense. The draft is always a single date, never a repeating expense.
Prerequisites
- You are signed in
Steps
- Add one or more photos of the bill, write a note, or do both. A note can stand alone. A photo can stand alone. Photos you send stay with the draft as the receipt.
- Review the draft before you save. It can fill a name, the amount, the currency, the date, a category, the line items, who paid, and who shares. It can also suggest a place and a group.
- Check Paid by and Split Between, change anything that is off, then save it the same way as any other expense.
What good looks like
Open the saved expense. The amount, the people, the lines, and the receipt photos match what you confirmed. Until you save, there is no expense.
