Invite members

People you add start as members. Someone who is already in the group is not invited again.

Add while you create the group

  1. Follow Create a group and invite people.
  2. Under Members, tap Add and choose the person. That can be an account or a custom contact.
  3. Create the group.

If their settings allow everyone, or they allow only friends and they have connected with you, they join immediately. Otherwise they get an invite, if they still accept invitations. If they allow nobody, you cannot add them. The rule is in What a connection allows.

Open the group and share its invite link. A link can expire or run out of uses. Someone who uses it joins as a member.

If you are invited

Accept the invite to join. Decline it to stay out.
